Developed as an evolution of 2005's Vespa LX, the LXV was conceived as a tribute to the Vespa generation of the 1960s. A decade that became a myth, the starting point for social and cultural revolutions that shaped today's society. A decade that was also marked by the explosion of youth as a social subject and where Vespas would come to symbolise freedom, as well as the fact that individual mobility was now widespread.


The headlights are on the handlebars, just like they were on the scooters of the years which influenced the Vespa LXV, only now they're more subtle, with emphasis placed on the handlebars. The analogue instruments are surrounded by a chrome frame, while the graphics borrow from the styles seen during 1960s. The handlebars are made of a chrome tube that is fitted with new handles covered with fine leather, the same that covers the seat, which separates the driver's seat from the passenger's.

The Vespa LXV inherits all of the technical qualities featured in the LX series: the 11" front wheel, the front disc brake, the modern and ecological motor with a capacity that made Vespa's history: 125 cm3. The Vespa LXV 125 features an ultra-modern 4-speed thruster from the Leader series (Low Emission Advanced Engine Range). Capable of producing 10.3 hp, it pushes the Vespa LXV up to 91 km/h and ensures that it has enough backup power to smoothly confront all urban traffic conditions.
