Reverse auctions explained:          

SmallClic is a website based on the inverted auction system (also called "downward auctions"). Here, the idea is to award a product that is for sale to the person who placed the unique bid at the lowest price. You can therefore buy a product at a price far below market value, in circumstances that are totally legal and supervised by our team 24 hours/day.

To be awarded an item at least cost, you must therefore participate in a secret and inverted auction. Unlike traditional auctions, you don't place bids that are higher than others' bids. Instead, you bid on a purchase price that is lower and that is unique, as the following example illustrates (the winning bid appears in red):

5 users placed a bid at 2.50 pounds

1 single user placed a bid at 2 pounds

1 single user placed a bid at 1.50 pounds

2 users placed a bid at 1 pound

The user who was awarded the auctioned item is the one who placed the bid at 1.50 pounds: indeed, he made the lowest offer, and he was the only one to offer this price. He therefore is awarded the auctioned item at the unique price that he, and only he, offered.
You have no limit on your number of bids.

 
You don't have to pay any of the amounts you bid during an auction, the only amount that is to be paid is the winning bid price, and it is only to be paid at the end of the auction.
 
Tickets required for each bid:

To participate in inverted auctions, you must first create an account by registering for free on our website, on the "registration" page. You then have to purchase tickets which will allow you to participate in the auctions run by Smallclic. A minimum number of tickets is required for each bid that is placed.

Smallclic is an auction website that uses the inverted auction system. Smallclic is therefore not a raffle or a game based on luck. Luck alone is not enough to win an inverted auction. Above all, your success depends on the strategy that you use to offer the right price at the right time. To assist you, Smallclic keeps you informed of your position as soon as you place a bid, as often as you keep bidding. The final result of an auction is immediately available at the end of said auction. The other bidders' offers are not revealed during the course of the auction.
